spent most of my NFS5 time in offline, and later online, record-setting. http://www.xs4all.nl/~eel/nfswr/index.html was the center for offline records (I liked the Classic and Golden categories the best) but it hasn't been updated in some time, and most of the interest of hard-core nfs5 drivers is now centered on

Some Ahadith
In some circles, it is considered not just functional, but an essential bit of modernity, like knowing what happened on "The Sopranos" or that Diesel refers to jeans, not fuel. Some users of dial-up sheepishly acknowledge that they avoid admitting their low network speeds when they are with their better-connected

Some thoughts about LaTeX (was "Re: CTAN has a new package: europecv")
I just played Dwarven priest and got some thoughts about how priest is too powerful compared to other classes. One major thing is Orb of Draining. OOD is large ball spell with very low mana and very high damage against evil creatures with no major drawbacks (it doesn't destroy anything valuable from floor).

Some More Thoughts on Poker...
If I walk and I wish to get some better idea what is around, I might stop. It is difficult alone to have a walk with people who do not have the patience for that, and just wish to keep walking, so that I hardly get anything of what is around me for long times in a row. Some just walk the first time into their place

from PG_DUMP to CVS
FreeBSD has some other disadvantages. There, 'update via network' means: get the sources via CVSup, re-compile whole stuff and reboot the box. Using Debian, the box has only to be restarted, if a new kernel is installed as well ... This is quite honest. On FreeBSD there is tight coupling between userland and kernel

Some Hard Truths
I'd still like to try RASW to give me some custom-tailored advice on new things I should try and things I should read from my unread-pile, which just keeps on getting larger. I've been scanning the group for quite some time and have picked up a couple of great recommendations through it, wich I've really enjoyed.

some 6 months ago or so about hacking a "PSQL-FS" that is, an interface to the *live* database which would look like a filesystem. Some Observations
I find it very funny that some of you decry it and talk about low life's this and low life's that OK, so as I see it, "quite a few posts, where some of those decry" ...right? .I think what happened sucks. Does this get added to the some of the quite a few? I'm really into numbers man, so I gotta know.
